I remember my first album but, I didn't buy it with my own money. I think the first album I bought with my own money was The Best Of Queen. I was about 10 years old and in love with Mercury's voice. A few months later, I heard CT for the first time and Robin became my fav singer.

It was Penny Lane by The Beatles 45. I think Rain was on the other side. Oddly, it was the only Beatles record I ever bought. I think I was around 9 years old... After that I became a Monkees fan.
If I never loved, I never would have cried.

I can't remember the first album I ever bought, but I know that the first musical purchase I ever made was a 45 of Queen's "Another One Bites The Dust".

Well, we're goin' to a place where the jive is really cool
And if the band stops playin' there's a jukebox down the hall"
