Congrats to Cheap Trick for putting out a solid album with We're All Alright!

No one and I mean no one borrows from the best (including themselves...the title sums it up) like Cheap Trick.  The seasoned rockers put enough twists on covers to make them their own.  Thank God, Rick, Robin and Tom (Sorry Daxx your just to young to give credit here) continue to pay tribute to bands and artists they liked The Who, The Knack, AC/DC, Roy Wood, The Move, Dobie Gray, The MC5, and the list goes on and on.   Blackberry Way sounds great!

Songwriting ranged from modern to vintage Cheap Trick.  Lots of joint efforts here - Radio Lover was full of rock and roll cliches, hooks and "tongue in cheek humor" that the Clown Prince of Rock and Roll has been known for.  Mr. Robin Zander again proves why he is my favorite singer the man of a thousand voices, You Got IT Going On is the new Just Got BackBlow the roofs off of those popsicle stands when you play the summer tour with Foreigner with this song!
Lolita and The Rest Of My Life from Mr. Petersson already have become heavy rotation favorites.

Allow me to beg, plead, Kick Out The Jams (Hey, there's an idea CT what would that sound like on the next album?) scream, kick, whatever it takes hoping Cheap Trick will announce after their summer tour with Foreigner they will conduct club dates promoting We're All Alright! ?  Let's hope so.

Come On, Come On!

Best wishes,

Hamerica

I am looking forward to hear from all of those in attendance in the UK regarding the show. Hopefully we will get a tone report, a couple of concert reviews beyond the set list from Darren, Mike Hayes, and et al. Also, lets hear about Stone Broken. Always good to hear the reviews on CT openers as well.

Best wishes,

Hamerica
Expect them to play probably two (2) songs from the new album...
Would love to see this!!!!!
