Robin mentioned this tour last night.... Ugggh is right, probably won't go to this line up and wait for a CT solo show. But I do like this lineup better than the rock Hall three for all tour.
I noticed that there are two dates in Spain on the 10th and 11th June (after Germany and Switzerland). Cheap Trick are playing the Azkena Rock Festival on the 23rd, so maybe they will be on the European dates followed by some headlining concerts whilst over, just a thought..

According to the Foreigner site Lou Gramm, Mick Jones and a few other original members will be making appearances at "select" shows. Otherwise this is truly just a cover band playing their songs. I've seen this lineup at Starlight before and they're good and high energy IMO. I'm assuming Cheap Trick will at least get more stage time than the previous tour w/Heart & JJ. I don't care about Bonham opening. Saw them as well at Starlight and you could literally just have a DJ play Zeppelin songs instead. It was very mechanical. I'll probably still go to this as its only 15 mins from my house but won't spend up for closer seats. ($150 per for many of the close/decent seats) I reeealllly wish CT would play some solo/headlining shows!
great. no Toronto stop

That's hilarious! Big Grin
Foreigner, Bonham- not cool. And touring with Heart/Joan Jett is just as bad.

I agree, just a cover band without Lou. Saw him as a solo show couple years ago and he was awesome, that was more of a foreingner show than the current Foreinger band.

Jeez. Imagine that. Mis-information on the internet! LOL! I have to admit I'm pretty tired of CT doing the summer package tours with bands from the same era. It feels very stale IMO and even more so because these same bands and line-ups have played at Starlight for the past couple years and most haven't even released new material. I know I shouldn't complain as it's still awesome they're even playing and still sound great. However, it was only a couple years ago when CT played the VooDoo Lounge at Harrahs here in KC as a headliner and KILLED IT. Place was packed and it had such a great vibe that made it feel like you were back seeing them in their heyday. (the word heyday looks odd to me typed vs spoken! LOL)
