RECORD STORE DAY - SpecialRelease
Word has it that this is a USA release only.
No UK dates.
No UK bonus tracks on the new album.
No Record Store Day Release?

I despair. Seriously.
Why not 4 exclusive tracks? They apparently recorded over 30 songs.

Why not at least both tracks exclusive to the Japanese release and not just one.
The other tracks will be narrowed down for the next album I guess, which Rick said is not done yet.

Actually he did say it was finished back last fall (which Tom also said)l. But then, he recently said that it wasn't done. Which is it? Maybe they decided to go back and touch it up some more.

That was last fall. In the interview posted last week he said it wasn't. Tom recently said they never finished the rerecording of In Color but Bun said it was finished up in 2009. You never know who or what to believe. At least there are two bonus tracks.
Yeah, I've listened to all 13 tracks on the Japanese iTunes previews, and this new album is going to be really good. Maybe they don't want to rush out the next album so soon and want this album to resonate among the fans.

Was thinking about listening to them but I'll hold off until the album is out or another track leaks. Don't want to hear just pieces.
Also just read this.
Cheap Trick, At Budokan: The Complete Concert – Format: 2 x LP.

This looks like it will be a RSD first and then be on general released shortly after.
I'd buy this but the songs aren't exclusive to the record. Even 'Arabesque' can be found on the Japanese import. With 'Found All The Parts', those songs were initially only exclusive to the e.p. I might nip on down to the record store to see if they have it on Record Store day and buy it if the price is right. But I'm not going to break my back trying to chase it down.
Is there any word on Found New Parts getting a general release on CD later in the year or something?

Haven't heard anything yet. Would still like to get the Epic Archive releases on CD too. It seems like the industry is trying to kill the CD off for some reason even though it still accounts for over 50% of total sales. I refuse to purchase downloads, I like physical product. I personally know two people that lost their entire collection to a corrupt hard drive and have heard stories of at least seven others.

I doubt it. It seems exclusive to Record Store Day.

I am like you, I buy physical copies not downloads.

Thanks. I guess I'll finally HAVE to buy something from the offerings on RSD.
